How to Recover Your Files with OpticalBackup<\/h3>\n

When it comes to recovering your files, OpticalBackup<\/strong> provides two straightforward methods. You can either search for a specific file using the search box (see our tutorial on How to Search for a Specific File<\/strong><\/a>) or browse through your containers to locate the files you need. This underscores the importance of assigning clear and descriptive names to your containers for efficient file retrieval.<\/p>\n

To begin, access all your containers by clicking the “Containers<\/strong><\/a>” link in the main menu.<\/p>\n

Here, you\u2019ll see a list of all your containers, which you can sort by date<\/strong> or name<\/strong>. You can also search for a specific container name using the search function. From this list, you have the option to recover the entire contents of a container by clicking the recovery button.<\/p>\n

If you need to recover only specific files from a container, simply open the container click “Recover<\/strong>” button to open the check boxes and select the files you wish to retrieve. After selection the files, click “Conclude<\/strong>“. Check that your files are now on the “Reovering<\/strong>” state.<\/p>\n

Please note that since your files are securely stored on optical disks<\/strong>, the recovery process may take some time\u2014up to 48\u00a0hours<\/strong>. This is because our system must locate and load the disk, retrieve the data, and prepare your files for download. You can subscribe a priority plan to speedup the recovery up to 2 hours.<\/p>\n

We Offer Two Recovery Services:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Standard Service<\/strong>: Guarantees file recovery within 24 hours<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Priority Service<\/strong>: Aims to complete recovery in under 2 hours<\/strong>, depending on system load.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Once your files are ready, you will receive an email notification, allowing you to download them promptly. Click on the link to go to the container holding the recovery files.<\/p>\n

    You can download a ZIP file with all your files in the corresponding container. Take note that this protected secret download link will be availble for 72 hours (3 days). After this time, this download will be unavailable.<\/p>\n
