Secure Your Data with OpticalBackup\u2019s Advanced Encryption<\/h3>\n

The OpticalBackup desktop app<\/strong> utilizes advanced end-to-end encryption<\/strong> techniques to protect your data during transit from your computer to our secure servers. We employ the TLS protocol<\/strong> and AES encryption<\/strong> to ensure maximum security for your files. The TLS protocol<\/strong> is hardcoded into our software, and AES encryption<\/strong> is enabled by default, providing robust protection as your files are sent to OpticalBackup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For those who are IT-savvy<\/strong> and prefer to manage their own file encryption before uploading, you can easily disable the AES encryption<\/strong> in the “Options”<\/strong> menu and navigate to the “Encryption<\/strong>” tab to disable data AES encryption before sending to OpticalBackup. However, we will continue using the TLS protocol<\/strong> to maintain an extra layer of security while your data is in transit.<\/p>\n
