How to enable TLS + AES data transfer encryption?

Secure Your Data with OpticalBackup’s Advanced Encryption

The OpticalBackup desktop app utilizes advanced end-to-end encryption techniques to protect your data during transit from your computer to our secure servers. We employ the TLS protocol and AES encryption to ensure maximum security for your files. The TLS protocol is hardcoded into our software, and AES encryption is enabled by default, providing robust protection as your files are sent to OpticalBackup.

For those who are IT-savvy and prefer to manage their own file encryption before uploading, you can easily disable the AES encryption in the “Options” menu and navigate to the “Encryption” tab to disable data AES encryption before sending to OpticalBackup. However, we will continue using the TLS protocol to maintain an extra layer of security while your data is in transit.
