Ensure Automatic Backups with OpticalBackup on Startup
To make your life easier, the OpticalBackup app is designed to automatically load every time you start your computer, so you never have to worry about missing a backup. This feature ensures your data is always protected without any manual intervention.
By default, this option is enabled, and you can verify or adjust it by following these steps:
- In your OpticalBackup dashboard, click on “Options” from the side menu.
- Navigate to the “General” tab, which is typically open by default.
- Ensure the “Run when computer starts” option is checked.
It’s crucial to have this option enabled. If unchecked, your backups won’t run after a reboot, putting your data at risk.
